Roy D. Trivett has a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from Carleton University and has had major successes in building and commercializing companies in both the computer software and hardware product spaces. He co-founded Architel Systems Corporation and served as its President, CTO and member of the board of directors. The company developed mission critical, operations support systems for the telecommunications industry. Accomplishments included the development and deployment of battery management software into over 10,000 hand held, field computers used by telecomm industry technicians. Architel completed an IPO in 1996 ($110 Million market cap), became part of the TSE 100 Index, gained a NASDAQ listing in 1998 and was subsequently sold to Nortel Network in 2000 for in excess of $500 million. He is a founding member of Vancouver's Angel Investor network and brings decades of experience in entrepreneurship and company building to the ALP team.
