ALP battery packs are designed to ensure mechanical integrity of the system in the harsh automotive environment.
The cell assembly is mounted on elastic mounts designed to withstand the vibration and shock levels typical for automotive applications. In a standard product, the battery enclosure is made of steel and the cell assembly is protected by a sturdy plastic enclosure.
For most automotive applications, the packaging is customized to fit into the available space. The packs can also be supplied with a lightweight composite enclosure to minimize weight while maintaining high stiffness and strength.
